KLOW peptide references, with study notes
The safety trials, repair experiments and related-molecule studies sit together here, with their original citations.
Starting points for the source record
For the follow-up question, begin with the full-length thymosin beta-4 safety trial and the BPC-157 safety pilot. The 2026 musculoskeletal-peptide review puts the limited human record beside the preclinical interest.
For repair, the list includes tendon and ligament experiments, cell cultures, topical skin findings and bowel-delivery studies. The hair-follicle paper tested AHK-Cu, a different copper peptide from GHK-Cu. The wound and early safety papers on thymosin beta-4 concern the full protein rather than the short TB-500 fragment.
Those distinctions have rescued me from more than one overly broad conclusion. None of the papers in this list is a controlled trial of the four-peptide KLOW mixture. The research account follows what the individual experiments actually measured.
